Quuu Promote

Since we’ve launched Quuu Promote we’ve experienced an overwhelming response and witnessed an exponential improvement on the standard of the content that has been uploaded for Quuuu Promote users to use. This makes everyone extremely happy!

It’s always disappointing to have to reject a submission, and even though we get a lot of amazing material, it’s not uncommon to receive an email to give the reasons the reason why something did not succeed at this point. Quuuu Promote will help you reach your intended audience Therefore, I wanted to create this guideline to help you increase the odds of submitting your content to Quuuu!

Tips for Quuu Promotion

  • Avoid using vulgar words.
  • Don’t write sales-oriented pieces.
  • Do not be boring, or be slow to reach the end
  • Don’t have a site that is difficult to navigate (too many ads, annoying pop-ups, mini-fonts, italicized fonts, etc.)
  • Do not create content with a time-sensitive aspect which will soon expire or that focuses too heavily on religious or national holiday celebrations.
  • Don’t provide dead links or link to the home page or index page, in lieu of the page you are on.
  • Don’t send non-English content
  • Do not submit content that isn’t appropriate that is too specific or irrelevant to the intended audience (if the category you’re looking for isn’t in the list, inform Quuuu)
  • Don’t be overly inclined or swayed by the topic (this is something that must be embraced by those who might not agree with your views)
  • Don’t be lazy with spelling or grammar.

It’s essential to state before I go into any of these points that we’ll refund any post that don’t get through when we have the time to review the posts, so you don’t lose!

It’s true that there are plenty of “Dos” in the above list of 10 rules However, this is only because there are too many Dos to include, and it wouldn’t make for an extremely useful post otherwise. Don’t assume that we’re sitting here happy with our red pen and making awful laughs each time we’re forced to decline an application, we truly dislike it, particularly when the content seems promising. There’s always room for a healthy dose of sanity and tolerance.

For instance, grammar or spelling aren’t the only things we consider when we reject an article for just one or two mistakes. Errors are accepted because we recognize that not all people are proficient in English and mistakes can sneak in all the time. Even the best of us have typos (this does not mean that the writer has nothing worth mentioning) However, when there are too many errors, no matter how much we might want to edit it, we are unable to. Our goal is to ensure that the user experience isn’t disrupted or hindered by mistakes. We want Quuu shared content to be a pleasurable and seamless experience. As we say in the past, it’s all about quality. This is why we work with humans and people, not robots!

There are many gray areas that are involved in curation. I’m always eager to discuss these issues with others since editing is an unreliable field, but this 10 rule-of-thumb above help keep us on the right path to produce high-quality content. It’s the very existence of these grey areas that highlights why it’s essential to have people in charge of evaluating and sourcing content.

If I could offer one tip that is essential to all of our users and anyone else who wants to make use of Quuuu Promote the advice would be to take this into consideration when you submit content:

“Would you like to see this article happily shared with everyone, regardless of their location or gender, age or the particular interest category I’m sharing it?

We do our best to provide constructive feedback about why the content was rejected however, we encourage all users not to be discouraged and continue to submit content since we’ve witnessed some amazing content turnarounds which are very satisfying (everyone’s an winner!). If you ask anyone who has had their work promoted with Quuuu Promote and they’ll tell you it’s worth it!

This section is not applicable to anyone else, however I wanted to share it to let everyone know the procedures and standards we adhere to, as well as our select group of Quuurators to in the work we do! Here are a few additional rules that only apply to the actual curating process by our Quuurators.

[ONLY FOR QUUURATORS]

  • Do not send the same piece of information to more than one interest group.
  • Find the most effective hashtags to optimize your post to maximize exposure
  • Include the main people mentioned in the article, if there’s space
  • Do not post your username in a post for which you aren’t responsible for the authorship
  • Before you submit, proofread every posts and tweets to avoid mistakes
  • Modify all tweets and blog posts. Do not make use of the default text that is dragged from the site. These must be engaging. think about if you could click on this?

We currently, though we are able to revoke access for Quuurators at any time however, we have a three strikes policy. We’re happy that we haven’t needed to use the “You’re in the middle of the game!! !” line – so we’d like to say a huge thank you to all our Quuurers for their loyalty, we are grateful to the work you’ve put into it and are incredibly proud to be able to share your work with our users from all over the world!

If you have any concerns regarding the above, and would like to talk about it in more detail you can get in touch with me using the Quuuu live chat or leave a message below!
